OPMCA Webinar – Creating a Competitive Advantage in C-Stores

Patriot Capital and OPMCA are partnering to bring “Creating a Competitive Advantage for C-Stores” Webinar to Ohio Fuel Marketers

The webinar will serve to inform on the impact of EMV on convenience stores regarding POS systems and fuel dispensers. Patriot Capital Corporation’s expert financial strategists will talk about the methods the fuel marketers and convenience store owners can optimize capital and investing strategies.

Some other topics that will be covered:

  • Interest rate outlook and how they will affect the Petroleum and Convenience store market
  • The state of current capital markets
  • How EMV adoption is progressing for in-store and at fuel dispensers

After the conclusion of the webinar there will be a short question answer session to address unique or yet unanswered questions.

As the deadlines for the EMV shift approach, October 2015 for in-store POS systems and October 2017 for transactions at automated fuel dispensers (AFD’s), Patriot Capital Corporation would like to inform everyone on effects the liability shift will have and help fuel marketers come up with a clear and efficient plan to move to the new EMV ready system.

We appreciate everyone who’s in attendance today. And as Jennifer had mentioned, the title today is “EMV – Is the Glass Half Full?” The purpose of this webinar is to give fuel marketers and C-store owners some ideas, thoughts, and education around EMV and the impact EMV requirements may have on their retail business, discuss some of the challenges that might face NASM marketers, and also some ideas to help make the EMV spend something that has a better ROI, and is of greater benefit to the Shell marketers on the phone today, and as well as all NASM members. So, with that, let me go ahead and get started.
