Summary

The Loan Processor performs a variety of duties in ensuring our financing clients receive the highest standards of customer service and support.  Performing a wide range of tasks relating to transaction processing and deal closure, the ideal candidate possesses the ability to accurately deal with a wide range of information in an accurate and timely manner.  Major responsibilities include coordinating the processing of loans, the issuing of loan documents, and facilitating the release of funding to various vendors.  This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Patriot Capital’s offices are located in the Perimeter Mall area in Dunwoody/Sandy Springs. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Facilitates financing transactions by working with customers, vendors and sales managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation.

    • Assembles documentation packages and updates databases for loans. 

    • Maintains new and paid loan files

    • Manages deal flow and ensures that issues are identified and resolved.

    • Creates new loan files, completes basic underwriting; mails all loan documentation as required.

    • Ensures that loan documentation meets relevant requirements (e.g., appropriate legal descriptions, signatures, and dates). 

    • Prepares all documentation relative to the loan utilizing the bank’s processing system.

    • Assembles file according to investor instructions and delivers to the investor.

    • Follows up for all loan supporting documents such as insurance certificates, invoices, etc.

    • Performs a variety of filing functions and preparation of various reports.

  • Reviews all documentation, i.e., credit report, legal lands, etc. Immediately notifies team leader of irregularities relative to standard underwriting guidelines.

  • Processes vendor deposits, UCC filings, etc., mails documents to be recorded.

  • Assists with investigating and responding to customer inquiries.

  • Keeps originators and system appropriately updated.

Education

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school.
